Leah:
Hi, my name is Leah and I am very excited to be stepping into
the role of Office Manager at Solace Dental Care as the staff here have been very welcoming and friendly! I have been in the dental community since 2003 and have had a chance to work in many areas of the dental office such as Treatment Coordinator, Frontend Administrator and Assistant Manager. Being in different roles within a practice, has given me a great understanding of patient needs. When I’m not in the office, you will find me spending time with my son and husband. We enjoy spending time outdoors, expecially by the water in Kelowna when we get the chance. I’m looking forward to meeting each and every one of you!
Traci:My husband and I are very excited for the arrival of our first child in August 2011!! My years spent at Solace Dental Care have been very rewarding and rich and I am definitely going to miss the team here as well as the patients. I am thrilled to pass the torch along to our new fabulous Office Manager, Leah. 
Hi, I’m Traci. I am the Office Manager of Solace Dental Care. I started out in the dental world as a Registered Dental Assistant and graduated top in my class from SAIT’s Dental Assisting Program. My dental assisting background makes it easy for me to talk to patients who may have questions with their treatment plans as well as it allows me to better understand how a dental office runs efficiently from clinic to front-end. I love to be creative; I wish I could travel more yet I love the comforts of home. We have a great team here at Solace Dental Care who strives to provide the best service in the industry and I know that you will experience that each and every time you step through our doors!
Patricia:
Hi, my name is Patricia and I work on the administration team at Solace Dental Care. I have to say that I take a lot of pride in working here with such a great team. Working at Solace over the years has taught me how to really provide the best care and how you should take really good care of your teeth. I am from Brazil, and there is usually where I spend my holidays visiting my parents, especially in the Calgary wintertime burr! I have a lovely son, his name is Sam and I have to tell you that he is the cutest thing ever! Together with my husband and son, we have lots of fun. I would love to see you here at Solace. We don’t just want to take care of your oral health; we can chat, have a cup of tea and maybe, who knows, order Chinese!
Charlene:
Hi. My name is Charlene. I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1987. I am very proud to have become the first expanded duties hygienist registered and working in Alberta. I am passionate about helping people with their dental care. My husband and I originally lived in Ottawa but now call Calgary home. We have two teenage boys. When we aren’t working, we travel to our cabin in Sicamous, B.C. where we can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I also enjoy skiing in the mountains, reading and playing golf.
Ali:
Hi! I’m Ali. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene College in Toronto and was the first ever recipient of the college’s Professionalism Award. Dental hygiene has always been compelling for me; ever since I was a little girl in the dentist’s chair, I found the dental world fascinating. I am so happy to finally be a part of that world! I love my daily interaction with patients and my role as a health care practitioner here at Solace. I enjoy an active lifestyle and living in the inner city affords me the opportunity to commute to the office on foot or by bicycle. Outside the office, I can often be found out and about or walking Comet, my Labradoodle. Another great love for me is my garden and though I enjoy winter, I am always eager to see the first signs of spring!
Marnie:
I’m back from my year with my son and am happy to see all the patients I have missed over the last year!
.Hi, my name is Marnie and I have been in the dental field since 1991, as I knew at a young age, it is where I belong. I started as a dental assistant then graduated with honours in Dental Hygiene. When I’m not working, my husband and I enjoy camping and spending time at our cabin back home in Manitoba with our family and friends. I also enjoy hockey and am a huge Flames fan!
Georgina:
Hello I’m Georgina. I am a member of the clinic team at Solace Dental Care. I received my 40 Year Member Certificate from the College of Alberta Dental Assistants in September 2008. So I guess you could say that I love what I do! I enjoy visiting with all the patients that I have known for many years and I always look forward to meeting new patients. I love to travel but when I am home, I golf in the summer and curl in the winter.
Adrijana:
My husband and I are expecting our second child in mid-February! I’ll be handing over the hat of Clinic Coordinator to a familar face at Solace Dental Care, Janna! I’ll miss all the wonderful patients and staff of Solace Dental Care over the next year.
Hello, my name is Adrijana. I am the Clinic Coordinator at Solace Dental Care. I have been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2005 and since then I have gained great knowledge on how a dental clinic runs. I graduated at the top of my Dental Assisting class from Columbia College. My position here at Solace is to make sure the office is running smoothly. I enjoy my job tremendously! I am the person responsible for implementing the new Infection Prevention & Controls Standards. My position and this office is truly my home away from home. I have one daughter and I love spending my time outside of work with her and my husband.
Crystal:
Hello, I’m Crystal and I am one of the first faces you will see when you come into Solace. I am part of the fantastic administration team. I pride myself in connecting with you, the patients! I hope that I make an imprint on some of your lives in the same way that some of you have made an imprint on my life. I have had other roles here at Solace Dental Care, but being at the front desk is by far my favorite place to be in the office. I look forward to sharing with you all, the wealth and knowledge that my team has given to me! My free time is spent with my family and three dogs. We enjoy camping and being outdoors.
Janna:
Hi, my name is Janna. You will find me at the front of the office as part of the administration team here at Solace. I began my dental career after graduating from SAIT as a dental assistant. With a background in dental assisting and office administration, I am fully equipped to help you with any questions you may have regarding procedures or treatment. When I’m not at Solace, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. I love to golf, camp and play slo-pitch during the summer. I have a passion for photography as well as crafty things like card making. Working at Solace Dental Care has allowed me to experience what true 5 star service is all about! I look forward to meeting new and returning patients!
Rhonda:
Hello, my name is Rhonda. I have worked with Dr. Petryk since the beginning of his dental life. I am not a face that you will see often in the office as my role of Creative Director keeps me behind the scenes. I find great value in developing relationships with the management team to ensure that our vision of a high standard of care with five star service is achieved. I love to spend time with my family. I enjoy reading, long walks, mountain retreats, yoga. A Nanaimo bar is not safe if I am close by.
